#WFH Tip 2: Feed your body and your brain

Breakfast and a quick check of the digital world. This includes a 10 minutes maximum check of my emails to see if there are any urgent issues, and to alert those clients who appreciate it that I’m aware of their overnight communications and am addressing them. Don't let the day take you over: take command of the day on your terms.

Another way I do that is morning exercise: it’s vital for me on every level: physically, mentally, spiritually. Along with the physical and health benefits, it gets the endorphins flowing in my brain. Whether in business or music mode, this is when ideas tend to bloom. If I’m at the gym I’m almost constantly making notes or reminders to myself for ideas or inspirations that occur. Even with my new apartment workouts during #stayathome I’ll still add to my to-do list or jot down quick notes.

And if you’re looking for a diverse, in-home workout regimen, I highly recommend Fitness Blender. They have a huge range of options on Youtube, at all levels of intensity, with and without weights. Having gotten into a mindless routine at the gym, I’m really enjoying the challenge that all their different options have posed.
